Bead Soup Blog Party Surprises

The Bead Soup Blog Parties have been a wonderful way to create in new ways, stretching myself to try new beads, colorways, and techniques, but it has most importantly given me the gift of friendship!

Two of my former Bead Soup Blog Party partners surprised me with gifts in the mail!

BSBP7 partner, Nan Smith of NanMade Handmade Jewelry, surprised me with beautiful silver earrings she made! I was the winner of her giveaway for the "Clean Up & Fix Up" Challenge and Blog Hop hosted by Sharyl McMillian-Nelson. I was thrilled when the package from Canada arrived -- Aren't they gorgeous?

Then, BSBP6 partner Margareta Saari of Mags-Koruja surprised me with beautiful lampwork by Pinocean! Margareta choose lampwork beads with a heart motif to coordinate with my pink colorway BSBP8 bead soup from Bobbie Rafferty of Beadsong

Margareta also has a set of the heart beads too, so we are connected through love, art, and friendship, even across the ocean, from Finland to the U.S. and may create together!

The lovely lampwork beads have a heart going all around -- so pretty!

Thank you my dear friends! Love to you Margareta and love to you Nan!
You are both angels, and friends I cherish with all my heart!

Love & Muchas Gracias my dears,
xxoo  Rita

  1. Thank you so much, dear Rita. Lori's incredible creation of BSBP is amazing for so many reasons but I have to say that the best part by far is the connections and friendships that I have made in this wonderful beading community. I would never have imagined that I could make such close connections with people over the internet but we all share a common love and Lori has brought us all together in a common cause. I can honestly say that BSBP is one of the most important events ever in my creative journey.
