Sometimes, everything in the universe consorts to be perfection in our destiny. The Mother Earth Blog Hop day is such a day! Artists all around the globe have joined together to celebrate our home.
I had planned on using another artist's beads today -- WHEN THE UNIVERSE GAVE A GIFT AND THE BEADS ARRIVED FROM THEIR JOURNEY TO BE A PART OF THE BLOG HOP AFTER ALL!
All had fallen into place -- and just in time too!
My beads from Sweden had arrived, and as I opened the treasures, I thought of jewelry for the beads, our beautiful blue planet, the perfection unfolding, the physical, the sensual world.
I had planned on using another artist's beads as mine were in a hurricane it seemed, but then the lovely beads arrived the morning of the hop, a gift from the universe! |
Although I'd planned on bead-weaving for this Mother Earth blog hop, wanting to create a bead embroidery pendant with these amazing drusy quartz celestial beads, and Birgitta's cabochon, I had a wonderful opportunity to create quickly.
With an element of time, I tried my hand at a new technique: macrame.
Inspired by friend Sherri Stokey of "Knot Just Macrame" and her exquisite micro-macrame jewelry, I used her cool tutorial "Easy Macrame Stack Bracelets" for my Mother Earth jewelry. How delicious it is being a child of the Earth and learning, loving, growing, appreciating!
Using beautiful natural silk and rich satin cord, I made
two bracelets. Both were very different sizes, like a mother-child set.
But together, with a few additional blue agate gemstone beads, the
bracelets became a pretty ombre necklace for the magical unicorn
pendant. The shades of blue mesmerizing and uplifting, like the blues of
Earth.
The light blue silk and deeper blue satin bracelets with agate beads become an ombre necklace for the little unicorn! |
Our home is 4.5 billion years old. The blue planet we share is powerful, beautiful, full of diversity, well, and managed perfectly by Nonphysical. Earth, and all that which we think of as physical, has been proven to be a dance of energy, and vibration. Everything about creating with spirit feels good, and healthy thoughts of our planet, each other and life are in the vortex, bringing more joy, more diversity, more happiness. When our thoughts feel good, we are creating beautifully. Yes, more of that! the good emotions say with their guidance.
What is our responsibility to Mother Earth?
Rather than seeing hurricanes as punishments or wake up calls, how about creating with love and honor and appreciation? The cycles of nature are cycles of nature. No need to judge, fear, nor "push against" anyone or anything! Try it for fun. Practice finding thoughts that give feelings of relief, and thoughts that feel good -- on all subjects -- and watch the world change before your eyes! You're gonna like this!
Enjoy the Mother Earth Blog Hop!
